"Be prepared to pay $50 to park and it’s mandatory valet. Only one microwave is available and it’s on the 25th floor. Area is sketchy lots of homeless people walking around. You can’t enjoy the outdoor area in the back because it was filled with homeless people. I was also charged an extra $50 for double beds when online it was only an extra $15. Even though I had a double room they only included one set of towels. No one was there when it was time to check in and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Do not recommend"

"DO NOT BOOK WITH EXPEDIA!!!! Stayed at Element 2 nights, no hot water either night. Informed at check out and was told to contact manager. Emailed manager, told me because I booked with a "3rd party" site he could not help with rate adjustment. Contacted Expedia, they informed me that they could not reach hotel and could not help with refund unless manager approves it. Seems like everyone is pointing fingers at the other. I have booked multiple times with Expedia, this will be my last!"

"I know the price may seem inviting but just don't stay here. The room I had was disgusting. Stains on the mattress cover, the bed sheet and the pillow was filthy with no cover. There was also a random piece of metal sticking out on the side of the bed perfectly placed at ankle height. The room smelled of smoke and damp, which would probably explain all the bugs. The air conditioning took some coaxing but I finally got it going. The toilet had no cover and a broken seat. Inside the toilet was a band aid and a bug having a swim. I had to go the the check-in and get toilet paper, a towel and soap as there was none when I arrived. The bath had one the taps broken off, not that I would have used it - as was the entire room - dirty. The door separating the main room and the bathroom was water damaged and falling apart at the bottom. It says there is free Wi-Fi but that is not the case. There is no Wi-Fi. They wanted to keep my driver's license until I checked out. I said "no" and they asked for a $200 cash deposit. I offered $6, and they accepted. When I went to check out I rang the bell and waited. After 10 minutes of ringing the bell with no response I went to the side door and banged on that, and only then did someone reluctantly come to the desk. If I had any other choice I would have been out of there. As soon as I got home, I stripped off in the garage put all my clothing in a hot wash, and had a long shower. Still feel dirty. "
