"The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of food, healthy and fresh each day. The evening reception of light foods along with beer and wine was an extra bonus. Parking on-site was quick and easy. A wonderful little hotel located in an area that allowed us to walk to most places."

"The Loutrel had attentive staff, beautiful lobby and an overall great experience. The mezzanine room was a great lounge for our group to get together stocked with snacks and large tv. We rented the included bikes and biked all over Charleston. We ordered a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine which was delivered to the well appointed rooftop. Highly recommend the hotel and will be back!"

"We’ve stayed at Restoration many times. We love the one bedroom residences; however, this time around the residence felt dated. The bathroom especially. Needs fresh paint, bathroom is in need of an update; ie grout cracked and old, molding. The bed was not comfortable as well as sheets weren’t that crisp and soft, rather hard texture."

"The hotel has a beautiful interior and rooms are spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately, during our stay the hot water went out. This could happen to any facility. However, staff didn’t communicate well with us about what was happening and/or when we could anticipate repairs. The problem was resolved and we had hot water before checking out today. The continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese reception were very nice with lots of tasty options. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring historic downtown Charleston."

"The room was clean, the property is well-kept, friendly staff, great breakfast and wine hour in the evening. Inn’s location is central to everything. There is a construction of some sort happening next door, but we were out and about for the majority of the day so it wasn’t a nuisance to us."
