"Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏"

"Nice rooms with fridge, tea/coffee and bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast for the price. Solid mid-range option for the area."

In the end I had to call the hotel to find out how to check out and was told to just leave the key in the room and go. This wasn't really an issue for us, but it would have been better to be told of...

"This hotel, which could be a nice place to spend one or several days in Brandon: 1. There is a written notice in a paper asking that in case of an emergency the visitor call two different numbers. None of them replied or returned the call. 2. After having tried to get someone at least on the phone, we decided to go out and look for another hotel. In front of the...

"My new favourite place to stay when we come to Norfolk. A lovely hotel, amazing staff and really friendly locals. It was so lovely to see how busy the pub was with both food and drinks. The food was incredible, breakfasts were amazing. We popped downstairs later one evening and just had a dessert and they were more than happy to just serve that. All the staff were great, so friendly and went over and above when I mentioned something I needed for the room. The room was great, loved the...
