"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town...

"Stay was good. Best part was bar/restaurant on site w/live music on patio. Car was parked illegally in front of room doors & when I brought this to the attention of management, they assured me they would get guest to move their vehicle. It was a safety hazard (fire lane) Guest did NOT move, defied order & remained parked throughout the nite & owners/mgmt. did not enforce. This is an epic fail."
