"At first glance the property is sketchy. Had a security outside all day and night. A lot of unhoused people all down the street. Parking is inconvenient especially with all the unhoused people. I would not recommend for a solo female traveler. I will say staff is amazing and so friendly and rooms were clean and bed was comfy, but the traffic noise kept waking me up. Maybe ask for an interior room or one that doesn’t face the street. It was not good for light sleepers. The hotel is very close to a lot of attractions and we didn’t have to drive anywhere. I will say the unhoused people didn’t mess with anyone and they stayed to themselves so don’t let that deter you from staying. There were a lot of different groups of people out late at night so I felt somewhat safe. And the super amazing staff makes up for any shortcomings."

"Overall the property was very nice. It was smaller than anticipated, but it worked out. The kitchen was filled with every need. The larger bedroom suite was nice. The smaller bedroom drew complaints about it being too bright too sleep. But the bed was comfortable. It was rather difficult for us older folks to haul the luggage into the apartment. Due to the fact that we were going on a cruise after our short Seattle stay, we had extra luggage! It was easy to get ubers to explore."

"Had a great stay in Isla’s suite! Vince was super accommodating, helpful, and even recommended local spots for us to check out. Would totally rebook next time I visit the Ballard area. The suite itself was perfect for me and my partner, it had all the things we needed and made our trip to Seattle go smoothly. As far as location, Ballard is a super accessible and nice area! We ended up using public transportation throughout the entire trip and the nearest bus stop left us about a block away from the suites. Overall, we were about a 30ish minute bus ride from the downtown area & 1hr 30min from SeaTac airport."
