"This property has a beautiful view of the mountains and is located in very peaceful area. We were able to have a very enjoyable weekend, visiting the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. When we returned to the property, our family was able to sit back, eat dinner and relax without being on top of each other. The owner was very reseptive and commincation between us was easy from the time I booked, all the way to the end. I would definitely recommend this property and I look forward to maybe coming back again."

"This place is lovely and has great views as advertised and is as appears in the photos and description. Some other things we appreciated: no contact/keypad check-in, good quality and very comfortable king size bed, thick and absorbant towels, amazingly abundant ice machine for endless glasses of ice water on hot days, incredible view of stars, everything on one floor (so no up and down and no loft beds with downstairs bathroom), lots of cooling fans and portable air conditioners, spacious living area, kitchen table with access to outlets for laptop use, few/simple house rules, no unpleasant surprises."

"Cute, cozy and comfortable! I discovered this property by accident and what a happy accident it was! Dome Sweet Dome was everything it was described to be and more. The thoughtful design, welcoming atmosphere and amenities that met all our needs are beyond description. I want to highlight that the owner spared no expense in providing only the best brands and quality for every item in the home- from the hairdryer to the coffee machine to the high end dinnerware. The stargazing theme resonated throughout and set the mood for the place. The location is breathtaking and filled me with peace every morning. Last but not the least, the host was extremely courteous and ensured that questions were answered in a timely manner. Would I stay there again?- in a heatrbeat!"

"Great place to stay. Very clean and all check in / check out instructions are clear. Only issues we had was the hot water heater tripped, but Isaline was onnsite within 20 minutes and had it resolved. Will stay here again, if we come through area."
Pinewood Family Retreat House with Game Room and Pool Table

"Nice location and check-in was easy. Everything was nice and clean. The furnishings were nice and the kitchen appliances were nice. We were a little concerned with the multiplugs and cords kinda strung on the floor in most of the rooms. The kitchen and bathrooms were furnished nicely The game room was certainly a plus. Our grandson loved the games in there. The wrap-around porch with chairs was completely lovely. We found the mattresses on all the beds were not terribly comfortable and a bit lumpy so perhaps need replacing. At 81 years old with crippled legs (on a walker) found the entrance a bit cumbersome for handicapped persons. Overall, it was a very lovely stay in a beautiful location and would consider staying there again in the future. I recommend this place for a quiet vacation get away!"
