"The water in the shower was cold two days and scorching hot one day and the temperature could not be adjusted. We tried to make changes to our reservation at the desk, but had to call the central booking number. So that was a bit inconvenient but they did let us use their hotel phone. Convenient access to the train station to travel to London. The breakfast was expensive so we didn't buy it. They said that the wifi was free in the lobby but it was dreadfully slow. "Really conveniently located for the station, shops and theatre, this hotel offers well appointed rooms, a great breakfast and good service. Unfortunately, for the duration of my stay one lift was not working so wait times were long and the potentially lovely patio outside is not maintained, which is a terrible shame in the good weather. Rooms facing rear do near a bit of road noise."
