Not a short stroll as advertised - it’s in the middle of an estate (not so nice ) Make you pay £££ deposit or no check in details Make you sign this ridiculous document also to say if they had to take deposit off you because of damage- you can’t leave them a negative review! Got signs everywhere to remind you not to make noise/ switch off lights etc - doesn’t make us feel relaxed Strange smell in games room and first floor...

"The secure, allocated , on site parking is a definite added bonus within central Windsor. We stayed in the apartment on the ground floor with its own entry and private garden. Check in and out was simple with good communication from the host. The 1 bed appt was clean and well equipped and the welcome package of fresh milk, juice (and bottle of wine) along with tea, coffee and sugar were an added bonus. The lounge/kitchen diner also had a pull out sofa bed. Even though we stayed on Fri and Sat nights we didn’t find it was noisy , but enjoyed a good sleep in a comfortable bed. Do not hesitate to book a stay at Cavendish House - it has everything you need within walking distance. A fantastic base to see Windsor and surrounding area. We will definitely stay here again !!"

"The proximity to Windsor town centre was excellent !The accommodation was clean and the host responsive and helpful. The property was a little tired and the bathrooms would definitely benefit from a refit. We had trouble keeping the water in the shower area and my elderly aunt who traveled with us had difficulty getting into the bath to use the shower which was over it. There were no handles to aid this at all. She is not in any way disabled but a slippery bath was a concern. I also think more comfortable seating would have been nice and matching cutlery and crockery etc. excellent location though. One final thing was the tricky lock to enter the property perhaps a change of lock cylinder would make a difference."
