"Old motor inn that has been completely and well remodeled. Rooms are clean/bright/roomy, etc. Owners are delightful - enjoyed seeing them play with their children! "

"We have been renting houseboats for years on Norris Lake, however this was our first experience, staying on a houseboat that had to remain at the dock. Honestly, we were a little apprehensive about remaining dock side but ended up, enjoying being dockside more than when we are anchored somewhere on the lake. The staff at Norris Landing was so friendly and helpful. They immediately responded to and resolved any requests, questions, or issues that we had during our stay. Compared to being anchored out on the lake, it was much nicer being dockside. It was so convenient having the marina so close for essentials, like filling up the ski boat with gas, getting ice for a day of boating, and my kids made daily trips there to get ice cream. Staying dockside gave us an unlimited amount of water and electricity, eliminating the headache of having to conserve our water use in the bathrooms and kitchen, or dealing with generators for power. When the waste-holding-tank became full, we simply called the marina and they sent workers on a boat to empty it within 15 minutes, which was huge because that’s been a nightmare situation for us when we were out on the water. Also having a covered boat-slip for our ski-boat was amazing! It was so nice being able to keep everything in the boat dry for the next day. Overall it was better than what our expectations were for being on a houseboat dockside.Thank you to the amazing staff at Norris Landing Marina for making our trip comfortable and easy!"
