"A delightful suite in a cottage next to The Beetle and Wedge pub, beside the Thames. A cosy, well equipped room with a coffee machine, tea and proper milk provided, plus a good ensuite. Breakfast was sensibly priced and tasty, taken overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. All in all a lovely location and a good room for exploring the area."

"Hotel was absolutely lovely, however the service in the restaurant was very slow and staff were just hanging about chatting and ignored us for quite a while to bring menus, take the order, clean plates etc. They automatically add on the service to the bill. We had 2 cookies and 2 soft drinks on arrival £17! An excessive mark up!"

"The Old Stables have been very cleverly converted into a unique and spacious self-contained apartment with every facility thought of and made available, including unexpected items that enriched the experience of staying there, some of which we never got around to using.Everywhere was very clean and inviting with lovely bedding and towels and the generous space upstairs held twin beds, chairs and a TV which would be ideal for families with children. Our hosts were really helpful and keen for us to enjoy our visit and we felt very at home from the moment we met them."
