"Staff were excellent. No waterslide as stated, 3 very disappointed grandchildren. Life guards were very helpful. Caravan very clean and well equipped. Couple of small issues but easily rectified. Our main problem was actually finding the caravan as we arrived in the dark. Overall we enjoyed ourselves."

"We had a fantastic stay with my grandchildren. It was clean. The caravans are close together only room to park you car. We like how close it was to the amenities in the park. The only noise was from our neighbours playing loud music but they did turn it down when asked."

"A first visit to Cherry Cottage. Helpful and friendly owners (with details before) and when we arrived. A generous welcome pack with home-grown veg. and eggs.The cottage was warm and comfortable - we were also able to have a cuppa on the little terrace at the end of the garden, which had lovely views across the fields to the estuary. The cottage was beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean and restfully decorated. Good information leaflets. We found a good pub by the harbour side in Shotley - The Bristol Arms. Need to book for a Saturday. Also visited the little Maritime Museum and the local vineyard with a newly opened cafe.This is NOT a criticism - more an observation - if the weather turns colder/frosty, the little slope out of the back door might need to be cleared of moss to avoid slipping."
