"Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom needs updating- no toilet roll holder. Plenty of sockets as well as USB ports. The building is 2 floors with no lift. Plenty of parking. Great location to get to Bridlington. We ate at the pub 4 times. 2 breakfasts which you had a decent choice although the orange juice was was quite watery. 2 evening meals which were nice but they were running out of items quite early and for a bank holiday it seemed that they hadn’t prepared for the amount of people. Staff were friendly."

"Lovely little apartment, just a little strange to get there. Once there no problem, nice and quiet, plenty of room for the 2 of us and a pleasant walk to the seaside. Perfect for the spa theatre"

"The flat was new and modern looking. It was Pleasant, but as the windows were dirty and the view from those windows (being at the back of the property) was very unappealing, we were forced to have the blinds down all the time. The biggest disappointment was that on the Expedia ad it said 'parking included' and it was not, therefore we felt Expedia used false advertising. Parking was our first priority when looking for a place to stay. We were able to find parking elsewhere, which wasn't close to the property, plus this was never guaranteed, this caused us stress every time we used the car. There is paid parking nearby, but to be honest these didn't look very safe. The parking outside the property is permit holders only, with a one hour drop off period for unloading etc. We were never advised that we could have asked for a parking permit, before we got there, which we were told could have been possible by another guest house on the same road. We were not informed about where to leave the rubbish, which we ended up taking with us. We tried to call the caretaker on the number shown on a number of occasions, but we never got an answer or a return call, which wasn't acceptable. "

"Property was quite dirty. I had to was all of the cutlery. There were grease smears on the cooker hob. The oven trays and grill were filthy. Did not use because of this. I did not receive the wifi information until 5 days into my stay. This was after leaving messages on owners voicemail. They never got back to me at all. Had to go through a customer complaints procedure with Sykes cottages to get the wifi details. No apology, just an email with a picture of the router (which wasn’t in the flat). "
