"There was no ;hot water and the room was a bit warm at night. The staff made up with their service."

"Front desk had an insane attitude , when we asked for a safe she said there isn’t one safe in the whole hotel, when we asked if we could upgrade she said no you can get another room exactly the same price and condition as your current room. We asked if she was sure ask there were better rooms and were willing to pay she said trust me I work here I know more than you. She yelled at hung up on Expedia customer support twice. We had no safe, no cleanliness , the pipes in the toilet ran the entire night. THIS IS NO WAY A FOUR STAR HOTEL, more like a motel or a 2 star hotel. Everything is so old in the room even the iron doesn’t work. The shower curtain was moldy as well. They are charging similar prices to what’s around which is straight robbery. Would not recommend if you are expecting a somewhat classy stay "

"I took my boyfriend to Houston for his birthday to see Miami Heat play the Houston Rockets and we stayed at The Laura Hotel, first off when i saw this hotel i instantly knew this was the hotel to stay the rooms looked great because that the firat thing i look at when booking when we got there the staff was nice and the hotel overall was so cute we loved it especially because the area was very quite and it was in walking distance to the red line train which takes you right in front on thr NRG stadium its always a 5 min walk to rhe toyota center and i loved that after a certain time at night they look the doora to the hotel so you have to ise your key card to get in which for me was perfect and also very safe that not just anyone cam just walk in i give it a 10/10 will definitely stay here again the next time im in Houston."

"If you get a choice, definitely book the rest house. It’s a small apartment and it is so lovely. The check-in process is so easy. The restaurant on site is delicious and we eat out a lot in Houston. I would definitely give it more stars than the pizza place around the corner, although I do love the free shuffleboard at that place. I love the water refills on the floor and the water actually taste clean. Definitely recommend this place the staff are great. "
