"I booked this as a backup for the festival opening week and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. Sweet and warm welcome, extremely helpful staff. Nice atmosphere amongst travellers as well. I guess the bad reviews are either from an earlier period or people don't understand it's a hostel. I was very glad to see a fan spinning in the room at night as it was very hot. Basic but generous breakfast for free. Showers are old but what can you say at this price - unbeatable regarding the prices at...
"Very good hotel for its star rating. Clean, good decor and facilities. Good shower and effective air-conditioning. Conveniently placed between the railway station and the amphitheatre. Our room had a view of the Rhone. No lift so don't stay here if limited mobility but not a problem for us. Good value."

After we left a AirPod behind he checked our room and told us he would have laundry staff the laundry the following day. He responded the following day with news he had our AirPod and would be able to ship to our home.
