"This was my second stay at the Marcel and I really love it. The front desk folks are super friendly and the extra touches — like the refillable glass water bottle (with seltzer available too!) and various light/shade options — show the thoughtfulness of the design of the whole experience. "The property is in good condition with decent amenities, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is also very quiet even though it's near I95. There are not many restaurants or attractions near the hotel, but traveling to New Haven or the train station is convenient. For me, it is a great alternative when hotels in New Haven are either fully booked or very expensive during Yale's graduation season."
