Nice big room, across the pool that was much needed during the heat wave. We had dinner at the restaurant that was very good albeit on the pricy side. The Chateau is nested in the vineyards, the surroundings are gorgeous.

Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. The Hotel Les Saules is a wonderful hotel that is a must for that trip away for any reason. The staff are personable and welcoming; very professional. This hotel was relatively new so the rooms were good size. The bed, bathroom and TV were also quite new. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. I think he had only been on the job a few weeks. However there was one problem - with all the rooms. When you want to close the door, the mechanism sticks, so you really have to close the door hard to get it to close. And some people were having problems with this, so at night a couple of times you would heard people having to slam their door...
