"We loved this place and would highly recommend it - but it might not be for everyone. The town staff works on the beach with heavy machinery (bulldozer one morning, roller another, guys with power tools another) - this keeps the beach looking great, but they do it from 6am-9am. So if you were hoping for quiet mornings on the patio overlooking the lake you might be disappointed. The resort itself was lovely, and the on-site restaurant excellent."

"Loved the resort. Although it wasn't surrounded by restaurants and such, it was only a short drive to anything that we needed. We were here during the weekday and it was fairly quiet. The heated pool was very nice. The sand on the beach isn't the best (a little rocky and sticks) but decent. Our toddler didn't complain about it. Service was great and the poolside service was appreciated although a little slow even though it wasn't busy. The bed was comfortable, even the pullout couch was comfortable to our surprise. We couldn't hear hallway noise but that might be because there weren't that many guests. We left on Friday morning and there were definitely more children and guests by then. Would definitely come back on weekdays for a quiet calm stay."

"We had rooms overlooking the golf course which made them quiet. They were all recently renovated so clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub on site since it was rainy but the whole garden area was nice and quaint. My husband ate at the on-site restaurant since they had big tvs for the game and said the food and staff were top notch. The only drawback was the room receipts were confusing. I booked 3 rooms and even though there was someone from each room who gave their details and credit cards when we checked in I still ended up paying for them all and getting all of the receipts to sort out later. Other than that I would definitely stay here again since it was so comfortable and right off the main road. "
