St Andrew's Parish church in Aysgarth in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire.
A medieval church rebuilt in 1536 and again in 1866 at a cost of £3,600. This rebuild was total with the exception of the lower portion of the tower.
The church is unusual in having grounds that extend to around 4 acres.

"Fantastic cottage, warm, cosy and very welcoming. Had everything that we needed. Thought parking would be a hassle but it wasn’t. Log fire was easy and kept the cottage cosy. Many beautiful walks from the front door. Grassington is amazing "

The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep)."

A cosy accommodation with all the creature comforts you would expect in a place with high standards. Spend a little time exploring the village of Grewelthorpe when you’re there and a meal at the nearby Crown Inn. Further afield explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with its quaint and picturesque villages and the beauty of the surrounding areas are stunning."
