"The building was beautiful and the room was nice and big. The view looking out is absolutely gorgeous. The view also in the back is amazing. Unfortunately, their breakfast did not match The view. Also, we thought the breakfast was complimentary and even then I wouldn't have eaten it, but I didn't realize we were getting charged even for the breakfast for how bad it was. Also there is not AC in all the rooms. Keep that in mind if it's a hot day that you go. Also the water is leaking out on the shower onto the carpet. Without there being AC it could cause some mildew buildup if they don't get on top of it. Even with those things we really enjoyed or stay."

"This is a unique hotel located inside a 12th century castle, staff was very nice and restaurant inside the hotel was amazing, we had dinner with great views and delicious food, breakfast was complimentary and very nice, we loved the overall experience "

"This is my second visit to this beautiful hotel! When I arrived yesterday, I was warmly greeted by Carolina, who remembered me from my stay in February. Her customer service is truly outstanding, and she made me feel so welcome. The room was ready, and I was overwhelmed with joy with the beauty of my room, with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel Belvedere has a lovely lido, where you can sunbathe n enjoy swimming in the lake. The pool and wellness center is gorgeous. The staff is amazing, and I hope to return to this beautiful hotel every year. Thank you Carolina, and entire staff for making this feel like a second home in Switzerland!"

"Very pleasant stay. Modern design, good size clean room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Free breakfast is a nice addition. The property located just a 15 minutes scenic drive to Interlaken that is actually a bonus. "

"We visited Switzerland in July as a family of 4, with two children ages 17 and 12. Parking- There is no parking on site, but a very close garage about 2 minutes walk away. You will need to roll your luggage up a small hill from the garage so be prepared for that. The hotel is very well located to the town, and getting around via foot from the hotel is very easy! Check-in- Upon reaching the hotel, there is a small flight of stairs you must go up to enter the front door. Right inside is a restaurant that is Tex-Mex themed (being from Texas, this was a cute surprise) where you will check in and get your key to your room. Our room was outfitted with a queen sized bed and two roller beds for the kids. The windows opened for a nice breeze to keep the room cool, and they even had a fan set up to keep the air flowing. The room itself was clean and comfortable. An amazing bonus was the complementary breakfast every morning! The restaurant had a table waiting for us every day, and the food was perfect for us to get our day started. It's not a full hot breakfast, but a nice mix of meats & cheese, pastries, cold items, fruits, and cereals. Extra- We visited Thun in the middle of our 18 day European Trip, and had heard that there was a great laundry service there right around the block from the hotel. We dropped off our dirty clothes and picked them up the next day folded and sorted. They were fast and it wasn't expensive at all! "

"We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view. Some tips: there is no elevator and no dedicated parking place."

"Wonderful property! Great views of lake Thun. Helpful, friendly and bilingual staff (I speak English). Superior double room was fantastic! Large, clean, modern, great balcony with great view. Spa was ridiculously nice and included (save massages)! Underground parking included too if you are touring, which we were. Probably my favorite stay ever, anywhere to be honest and my teen and young adult children felt the same which is not always easy. Worth the price and short walking distance to boat station too if you are headed to St. Beatus or cruising."
