Rooms have two levels, with kitchen and living space upstairs, and bathroom/bedroom downstairs. Breakfast was wonderful, great service from staff and picturesque view. "Conveniently situated very close to the railway station & yet very quiet. In the old town so all sights easily walkable. Free bus/tram pass but we didn’t use this. Very helpful & friendly reception staff. Great restaurant recommendations. Would certainly use this hotel again. "

"Amazing view of the Thun lake and Spiez castle from the property. Very unique place to stay, offering a perfect Swiss experience. Close to all tourist destinations like Grindelwald, Istelwald, Jungfrau. Well connected by bus and train. The staff provided a bus pass so we didn't have to walk to the train station. Good weather in May made our stay in the comfy room with a scenic view memorable. Make sure you check and book the room as they have multiple categories of lake view rooms. The best view...

"We lived the Hotel Krone. The location is amazing and everything about the hotel is wonderful. Next time I would book the larger rooms rather than the smart room. That seemed more suitable for a young couple that wanted a great accommodation but did not require a large room or a big bathroom. My party of seniors was a bit cramped but that was on me. Breakfast and options for dining were excellent"
