"This place is special. It's like checking into a royal house and getting the royal experience for a couple of days. The house itself gives you a very warm feeling, and dinner experience was very fancy, following all the rules. They also have a great collection of whiskeys. All in all, we loved living the dream."

"The Strathy Inn is the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying with friends - extremely hospitable ones! It doesn’t look much from the outside and is not in one of the bigger villages but the rooms are very clean, cosy and comfortable and have everything you need. The bed was one of the best we’ve slept in on our trip around North Scotland. Meals are also home cooked and delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"If there is a better place to stay in this area I'd love to hear about it because this one is hard to beat. Rural serene location. Ocean view. Cows to view. Go to The Store in Bettyhill after visiting the museum. Both are amazing."
