The view up to Beacon Hill was amazing and the surrounding countryside reminded you of how England should look. The hosts Eileen & Chris were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely stay there again. Ditchling is fascinating with period houses it’s steeped in history. A tip you must have an afternoon tea at the Nutmeg Tree tea room."

"An amazing property in an amazing location. Set in the middle of farmland this Sussex Timber Framed House is truly unique. The whole history of the land and property are documented from 1245 both in book form and on the walls of the entrance porch. Filled with original beams and woodwork, inglenook fireplaces and furnished to compliment the age of the building but with modern day living taken into account. An amazing bedroom with vaulted ceiling and modern en-suite bathroom. A lovely kitchen...
