"After a rather pot holed approach road to the site you are greeted by a terraced bungalow complex. On my second night I discovered there is accommodation in the attic with bare floor boards- I had a rather noisy person above me! These should be carpeted as a courtesy to those on the ground floor.The person who checked me in was pleasant but not thorough with information. The oatcakes are a must try! We had such a better quality, personal experience here at Hawthorn Farm compared to the impersonal chain corporate hotels we’ve stayed at. "Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."
