"Me hospedé un fin de semana en Casa de Cortes y la verdad fue una experiencia muy agradable. El lugar tiene ese estilo colonial-boutique que hace que te sientas en una casa y no en un hotel cualquiera. "The room was surprisingly spacious, and it came with a jacuzzi which I didn’t quite pay attention to when I was booking but a welcome surprise. As with other hotels in Latin America, AC is provided by a mini split so it does take time to cool off especially in the Yucatán heat. Room was clean and staff was very helpful and courteous. Only gripes if that can be said…no refrigerator in room so not able to keep beverages cold in room, and while they will lend you an iron with an ID left for security (??) they do t have an ironing board so you have to Magyver it on the counter or bed somehow. Otherwise a very affordable and spacious place to stay close to the city center and highways/interstates leading to local tourist sites. Would definitely book again!"

"Everyone and everything was perfect for the 2 weeks we were there. However, the only minor issue I would say that has nothing to do with staff but rather infrastructure, are the ac units (not bad enough to complain about though) .They sit above the door, inside the ceiling behind the vent. And it appeared that housekeeping had the obligation to vacuum out the water every other day (hence the requirement for them to check room every other day), since on the days that I’d skip or if I went over 2 days, you’d here water drops in the background. Usually on the days when water was clearly heard, we’d wake up w a lot of humidity inside the room. Immediately after room service and throughout the next 24 hours, air was crispy cold. So my recommendation would be not to skip housekeeping if possible. Otherwise, excellent stay and very very comfortable. Hotel sits directly across the street of the American embassy. Oxxo (similar to 7-11) sits immediately next to hotel and then there’s Harbor Mall w restaurants within walking distance. Excellent location and it was a pleasure to return back to our room at the end of the day. Definitely top hotel in my opinion."

"The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant on site offered delicious breakfast and dinner entrees. We had two rooms, and one problem common to both was the climate control/air conditioning system was difficult to control. One room was a bit too warm, and the other too cold, but the thermostats in both rooms did not seem to function properly, so we could not change the temperature settings. In all fairness, we did not alert the hotel staff to this situation, so they did not have the opportunity to solve the problem."

"Super cute boutique hotel. Best location ever. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars and main square with other beautiful parks all around. Location was amazing. You have to be willing to walk and explore. Just walk in to any restaurant and you will not be disappointed. You can access so much all within minutes"
