The onsite free Onsen was great and excellent way to relax at end of day. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was added cost but well worth the price with multiple options. If visiting Kyoto you can’t get a better location for your visit. "

"Outstanding hotel. I haven't been to all hotels in Kyoto but this hotel was by far the best one i have been to. Even though it is located in downtown Kyoto it has a very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It is quiet in the room which is good when you want to sleep. Breakfast is great and the lounge is nice. It is a good place where you can relax in the evenings. "
