"Place was as advertised, if not better. Had a group of nine guys from 30 to 60 in age for a regular weekend of just killing time and (maybe) some brain cells among the family and friends that attended. We are certainly not picky and a cobweb or two in a very low traffic area or two isn't a turn off to us. Plenty of things to do at the property to keep us occupied for the long weekend, whether it be sitting by the lake, or in one of the ample common spaces - there's several areas to plop down either after a meal, for a ballgame or a movie, or just a session of shooting the breeze for a natural flow to the weekend. If I had to find something to say, and I didn't but I feel it makes this more authentic, I wish there were stairs from the upstairs deck with the propane grill to the downstairs outdoor eating area, but that may be the only complaint I'd have about anything. Going through the house was not a big deal at all. A experience with Ray and I would definitely come back if the opportunity ever presented itself in the future. Thanks Ray & his team to make us feel welcomed."

"The property is easily accessible and ideally situated, with numerous local attractions and activities nearby. It offers a charming and spacious setting that feels both cozy and welcoming. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained — a definite bonus.We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, which was a fantastic experience, and having coffee on the dock each morning was incredibly peaceful, with beautiful scenic views enhancing the tranquility.The home is pet-friendly, and our dog thoroughly enjoyed her time, particularly on the dock and even joining us in the kayak.The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill with seating made it convenient to stay in and enjoy meals while soaking in the natural surroundings.Whether relaxing indoors or spending time outside, the property provides a perfect blend of comfort and nature.I would definitely come back again!"

"We had a great stay at the Black Pocono Cabin! It was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The separation of rooms was great for us. My husband and I had the main floor to ourselves while the teens had their space. The hot tub was hot and clean and while, yes, you can see the other houses from the hot tub, there are plenty of trees to give you a sense of privacy. The mini beach by the lake was lovely! We were able to get some beautiful family photos lakeside.There was a long line at check-in at 9pm on a Friday but the line moved quickly. We only had to present the car registration and driver’s license for our pass. In and out!The kitchen sink wasn’t draining properly but the host was so speedy in her response. Ordered a delivery of drano and was securing a plumber to address the issue.It is the wilderness, so insects and deer abound! The spiders weren’t my favorite, so make sure you double check your room before going to bed!"
