"This place was in the perfect location, our big family (2 adults 6 kids) all had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and the host was amazing. We had a mishap that has never happened before, one of our kids broke some pretty valuable furniture and the host was so gracious and we worked something out. The pictures are spot-on. "

The breakfast of cereal/croissants was a nice touch. We also found a lovely pub about 10 minutes drive away with amazing food - there were several to choose from. The owner was friendly and helpful. Suitable for a couple or a small family - there is one bedroom with a double bed, and the other with twin beds."

"Vavasour House is clean, comfortable and cosy. Our hosts were most welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped so we had no problems preparing and cooking our Christmas Day dinner. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed taking walks along the nearby river - there are numerous footpaths through the Red House Estate."

"Blossom Cottage was the perfect base for us to explore Yorkshire. Goldsborough is a peaceful rural village but is close to Knaresborough and Harrogate. The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful and friendly.We would recommend Blossom Cottage to everyone."
