"Lovely place really with old well-preserved rooms, great breakfast and dinner and an amazing whisky bar. The service was excellent too. If you arrive during the snowy season, make sure to ask for a heater or extra blankets as the rooms on the bottom floor gets very cold. "

"Our room was very clean, loads of room including large seating area. Bed extremely comfortable & cosy. All staff were friendly and attentive. Dinner was excellent on both evenings. The hotel is pet friendly but dogs were always under careful control & supervision of their owners. The hotel clearly welcomes families and had many non resident diners which indicated a good local reputation too. Happy to recommend to friends & family."
