"What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay."

"The location was great because it’s not too far from the beach but it’s much quieter than the places on Belgrave Road. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was great with nice quality sausage and bacon. Hosts are very welcoming. "

"Rooms nice amd clean. Reasonable amount of parking. Nice sea view from the breakfast room. Some wind noise on breezy days, noticeable outside my room, no 7.
Large bar with some functions at weekends, but the noise wasnt too intrusive.
Overall an enjoyable stay"
"Lovely clean tidy hotel that looks like it's just been recently updated, the rooms are really nice also has a swimming pool and jacuzzi.
The staff were friendly helpful and very attentive.
Close to the sea and a 10 minute walk to the town, plenty of places to dine, shop and have a drink.
Definitely will be going here again and would recommend this hotel.

"The staff were freindly and helpful. The room was a little tired and in need of updating.
The main social rooms of the hotel have characterful decor and are well kept."
"Staff was very nice. Only thing was the water in the shower would rapidly jump from scorching hot to freezing cold other than that are stay was amazing!"
"Our stay at the Belgrave Sands Hotel was brilliant (as usual). Our rooms were spotless and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
There are not enough superlatives to do justice to this gem of a hotel"
