It's an old building originally used for production of olive oil, modernised to today's top living standards while still preserving its history. Stylishly furnished, combining modern furniture with the building’s original charm. The blend of old olive oil production features with modern conveniences creates a unique and cozy atmosphere. The only thing missing was the castle’s servants, but the host’s service...

"It is very apparent that the host does not take pride in ownership, the toilets were broken, screens to windows falling off the tracks, door handles came out to open the door, power kept going out, nasty garbage rotting in the hallway. The host was in response before and during the stay. Very port quality of furniture annd apartments was not very well equipped. The building has potential but the host kills it. The onlY positive note was the location."

"We stayed a month at Casa Gianni. A spacious, clean property in a small 'village' on the outskirts of Lecce. We only went sightseeing a few days, so used Radio taxis (25-30 euros each way to Lecce) rather than hiring a car. Bus service almost non-existent. Driving into Lecce is not for fainthearted as streets are full of pedestrians. Supermarket (open 8-2 and 5-8) closed Sundays, plus a bar, pharmacy, florists and butchers nearby. The only eaterie, the Pizzeria seemed to open at random hours...

The beach is stunning and a short walk away. There are other beaches and historical sites very close. We had a magical time at Antonio's home and can't wait to come back. "La casa è veramente inserita in un contesto molto valido con un giardino splendido e molto spazioso e con un patio coperto che permette di tenere in ombra e fresco il salotto anche nelle giornate più calde accessoriato da un tavolo da giardino in legno da varie sedie coordinate molto comode per il relax o per mangiare all'aperto. Buona la dotazione wi-fi e tv (anche se di piccole dimensioni). Valido il lavabo e la doccia esterna. Le due camere da letto spaziose e con armadi grossi....
