Torremolinos front is lovely and the beach is amazing. Plenty of options to eat and drink and close to Málaga. Torremolinos town centre itself can be a bit tacky but the locals are friendly

I got a taxi from the airport and am glad I didn't opt for the train. The train station is up in the old town where there are tons of steps which you wouldn't want to be walking a suitcase down. Airport transfer time about 20 mins 20-25 euros.
