"We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet; our window overlooked a courtyard area and, therefore, seemed private. The bed was a king, which is hard to find in Europe. The shower water had amazing pressure! We were glad to have the fridge for our wine, and water was supplied daily in our room. The room is just as pictured. We were a few steps from the Capitole square. (This area is ripe with activity, protests, homeless, young people!)"

"Hotel is both funky and historical with a Michelin star restaurant (impossible to get a booking though) - issue was the antiquated shower system, frankly it needs an upgrade (you still have that "radio" option in the bathroom!). "The location of the hotel is excellent - in the centre, close to everything, but on a quiet street. The staff was excellent too and very friendly! The room was quiet small (12 sq m). The quality of breakfast products was great, but the selection was small for the price (€14). There is no parking in the hotel. There is a car park within 2 minutes walk that costs €30 per day. The hotel has an agreement with another car park within 5 minutes walk that costs €20 per day, however each day we easily...

"I stayed here for two nights at the last minute and it was wonderful. Great location, easy and friendly check-in, and a nice old school room - quite large by European standards. The bed and pillows were comfortable - just what I needed after the many paper thin French pillows I had been subjected on my travels."

"Great location. Parking is 9 euros per night. Positive thing is the room has a kitchen and there are meat and seafood markets close so you can cook. The only negative is the bed...thin mattress thin pillow and the second twin bed is in the floor. Room had a balcony looking to the river. Perfect for the price but not for a honeymoon. "
