"The property was undergoing renovations, so no 1st floor rooms and no elevator for my elderly parent. Safety latch was broken right off the wall, and they charged me twice. I had to wait 5 days to get reimbursed for 2nd charge"

"This property is very close to the highway and traffic noise was an issue for us. The curtains in the room had holes in them. Hallway carpeting clearly needed vacuuming."

"Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The homes were clean and stocked with what you need. Beds were relaxing. Sleeping upstairs is amazing because you can wake up to the view of the lake (if staying in the front villas). Drift had amazing food and wonderful service. The hot tub and sauna was a nice touch. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would 100% stay here again and will definitely be back in the summer to see this place running at full capacity. The only negative thing i can say (and it’s not their fault) is there is a train right behind the property which can be noisy as it does run all day but its about a min of noise and then right back to peace. Wasn’t even a bother but worth noting."

"I asked for a quiet room and the gentleman at the front desk searched diligently to find one. I practically had a wing to myself. Thank you. The pool is small but fits the bill for young kids to play in. The exercise room has what you need: an elliptical, a treadmill, and dumbbells. I only wish that the TV was in a place where I could watch it while doing my cardio. Breakfast was less than impressive; the yogurt machine was either broken or empty, and I couldn't find someone to help. They did have hard boiled eggs though and it was appreciated. I will definitely consider staying there again."

"No soap. towels, and bed sheets had dark red stains on them. Everything was clean though, and AC worked. Good place to stay for the price "
