"Lovely setting and the room was excellent. The check in is with a kiosk, not a favorite of any traveler. The breakfast offers a lot of choices and the coffee is good. What you don't anticipate is all the taxes local/state/resort fees that will add about $80 to your room per day. "

"Mountain View and shower was nice, bed was very comfortable, and location was excellent. I also enjoyed the coffee bar and free parking. Had issues with checking in, which thankfully got resolved but having no staff around the entire property was strange. It’s also very easy to hear the room next to you, it kept me from staying another night. "

"Room was clean and other guests quieted down about 9:45pm. My only concern is that no staff are available after 8ish or after the last expected guest arrived. So, if you forget your key you were out of luck. Breakfast bar was fine was almost out of sausage when we arrived at 7:30am and the machine coffee is terrible and the apple juice was more water than juice. We had stayed here previously under different owners and name and the place was amazing. The grounds could be cleaner, cigarette butts and leaves all around the property. Not sure if we’ll return to this hotel on our next visit to Ouray. "
