"I have stayed at this hotel three times now, in the last three years, coming to Nagoya on my yearly Japanese vacation. The hotel is located in Sakae near a lot of shopping and restaurants, while being within walking distance of attractions like Osu Shotengai shopping street and Osu Kannon Temple.
The breakfast buffet is first-rate with a lot of Japanese options as well as Western fare for the unadventurous. The staff is extremely polite, kind, and helpful as well as being very professional. I stayed on the executive floor this time so I had access to the executive lounge with free drinks and snacks as well as free health club access. However, I have tattoos so was unable to use the facilities. I think my only complaint would be to relax the standards for tattoos, but I understand the policy due to the clientele they serve so I was not too bent out of shape about it. There are different cultural rules and expectations in Japan and I happily follow them while I am here since I am not an overzealous traveler that expects the world to bend to favour my Western ways and behaviours. I come to Japan to experience their culture and not enforce mine."
