"Have now stayed here a number of times and always find the owners very friendly. Parking is a dream and there is a lovely walk to be had through the Camel River park. I would recommend a stay here."
"Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. Historic old Benedictine abbey modernized. Lanivet Inn walkable and recommend it for dinner. Would stay at Abbey again if visiting Cornwall."
"A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am."

Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical."
"We got engaged in Boscastle at the start of July and so this hotel will always be special, but it’s special regardless. Beautiful building, exceptional food, lovely pub atmosphere, helpful staff. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade and the room was beautiful - huge bed, lovely en suite and high-beamed ceilings. The breakfast is included and it’s exceptional - best scrambled eggs I’ve had in years. Couldn’t rate more highly!"
"Quaint old property, but very reasonably restored and maintained. Although minimalistic in number, the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. a lasting good memory for me.

"Great stay. Beautiful location. Would definitely go back as didn’t get to use the spa etc. Breakfast was nice, but a bit expensive. Room was lovely, lack of plug sockets by the bed. Staff were very helpful. "
