"Lovely quiet place to stay. We wre there for 4 nights, and were upgraded to a cabin, which was nice. The sauna wasn't working, but laying in the hot spa out in the middle of the golf course in the dark of night, looking up at the northern lights, was most enjoyable. "

"Good and quiet. Room is not quite ready as the shampoo & shower gel had ran out and was not replaced. Otherwise, good Fosshotel level of service and rooms. Happy hour from 4-6pm, 900ISK for Gull draft beers. Wine pairing- mega pint of wine served. Haha"

"I stayed for two nights in a modern cabin close to the beach, which I think they refer to as a "luxury cottage". Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room with kitchenette including a microwave and mini fridge. A simple but filling breakfast each morning at the main building was included in the price. Brilliant! "We loved our stay at the Sunset Cottage! It was one of our favorite places we stayed during our 10 days in Iceland. The cottage itself is located over a hill, several hundred meters away from the main buildings, and provides s lot of privacy. It was quiet and clean with wide open views of the countryside. We had breakfast on our last day ~$21USD/person), and it was great. We also ate at the restaurant onsite for several dinners so that we could enjoy the lovely waterfall view and delicious food. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area. "
