"Upon check in we was greeted by pleasant staff. We was given 2 rooms in the main hotel building. The rooms was absolutely huge, very clean and comfortable. We only stayed due to close proximity to the airport. After reading some of the reviews we was a little apprehensive to what’s to expect but it was better than expected. We are in the hotel restaurant and was pleasantly surprised the food was nice beef stew with tender beef. Only th big that they didn’t have was food for the kids but they ate free also which was good. Parking was very busy and was throwing down with rain so wasn’t great having to walk far in the morning but again not a complaint. Would stay again if in the area "

"Beautifully decorated comfortable chic home and the sofa bed is full size double & comfy. Only downside is it’s not that practical if you plan to cook all your meals in the flat. No cupboard space for groceries, kitchen pots etc are in the bedroom, couldn’t find a frying pan. Was easier to eat out or get takeaways. Bathroom is of high standard but tight on space with no where to put a wash bag or makeup bag or even a toothbrush. Also I would suggest owner puts a proper door on the side room where the boiler etc is as despite it being mid winter we switched the boiler off at night as it was too noisy at night. Super clean and tidy just not entirely practical for a small family."

"If you’re looking for a perfect spot to call home for a Ayr/Troon golf trip, this place is perfect. Centrally located between Turnberry (~35 mins south) and Western Gailes / Dundonald (~15 mins north) while walking distance to Royal Troon as well as numerous restaurants and bars. Place was comfortable for four adults and would fully recommend. "
