"Room was lovely, although the view was onto an area being built on. Would request a room with view of the front of the hotel next time. Hotel was lovely, very clean, bed was extremely comfortable.Room was nice and warm. Food at dinner was outstanding, beautifully cooked and presented well. Staff were lovely at evening service. Breakfast food was excellent also and the lady was very helpful when we arrived. Great experience in a lovely hotel."

"Not my first visit to this hotel and definitely won't be my last. From the moment I walked through the front door to the moment I left my stay was made as comfortable and pleasant as possible by the welcoming, professional staff. This hotel has excellent olde world charm by the yard as you will see from exploring the corridors which lead you through the bars and lounges this hotel has to offer. Comfortable clean room, opted for the sea view, with good size bathroom. Spacious dining room and an excellent "Scottish" breakfast which set me up nicely for my 580 miles journey home. I'll definitely be back soon. "

"The house as per the pictures was immaculate on arrival. The house is finished to a very high standard with great amenities including the cinema room and dining room both of which we made good use of during our stay. We were unlucky enough to stay during a storm but one of the maintenance guys stopped by the next morning just to check on ourselves and the property due to some storm damage that had occurred. It’s good to know someone is on hand should you have any issues. We would definitely stay again. "

"Lovely stay with myself & 2 friends who were working at Ayr races. Found nice places to eat at Harbour Bar and the Tempura Cafe/Bar on Portland St was excellent! Accommodation was very tasteful throughout with a beautiful garden to the rear. Will be looking to return."
