"This apartment is well located, incredibly well equipped, and the owner was great to deal with. It was the perfect home base for my husband and me for our five days in the Swiss Alps. "This place is adequate, but very basic. If you are there just to hike and then come back and sleep, it is ok. It was reasonably close to the train station, but there is a section you have to walk along a busy road. It would be better if you are traveling by car. Drains in the sink and shower are slow. It was very hot when we were there and it was difficult to leave windows open for fresh air because of the flies. May not be an issue if you come in cooler weather."

"The house is beautiful and very clean. The view is amazing. It was nice that it had coffee ,oil, salt and pepper , it made our life easier especially the rice cooker since we like to eat rice. It so close to train station and the lake. After staying g at Spiez, we left for Grindelwald but we wish we should have just stayed at Speiz, the surrounding is way better"
