"Wonderful location, we rented a car and stayed for 2 nights, it was easy to drive to Interlaken and Thun. The mountain view is gorgeous and the chalet has everything you need except washer/dryer. There are rules including quiet hours/no showers after 10pm which we did not know beforehand, which would have been appreciated. Otherwise a great stay."

"This chalet was a perfect basecamp for traveling the Interlaken region. It is within a 20-minute walk of a major train station and the bus is one minute from the front door. My husband and I adored the small village where it is located. It was amazing to stay in a small and quiet location and easily get to the busier city of Interlaken. "Super Host who provided a guided tour of the town. Apartment was very well stocked with local food samples. Easy walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We used this as a location to take the train into Lucern. A 20 minute train ride. Newly renovated apartment. Would definitely book again."

"The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to...

"The house is well situated for visiting the country via bus/train. Pascal gave us his advice on where to go & what to see, depending on the weather and/or crowds. I have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this house is probably the cleanest I have had the pleasure to rent."

"Fantastic view on the lakes and mountains, close to many hikes as well. About 15-20 minutes from Interlaken up in the mountain. Excellent equipment and beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, we tripped a breaker on our last night when my daughter tried to plug her adapter herself, losing electricity...didn't find the right box/breaker to reset ! Hopefully, nothing broke. Sorry for that."

"You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows. Room was good though there were some minor finishing touches. "
