This is an older hotel, with some parts (the banquet area) under renovations. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular but not bad at all. I would stay here again - and its location was excellent. Very thankful for the polite and helpful staff.

The room was larger than expected and the hotel offered a lot of amenities! The breakfast was amazing blending of international cuisine and changed daily! It’s close proximity to both the train and bus stations allowed for easy exploration of both the city and Japan! Two things of note: the hotel room can feel stuffy due the humidity and the room we stayed in could use some upgrades. Overall our stay was great and don’t forget to try the local banana jam (bought two jars home with me)!!!

Great location next to Tsukuba station. The staff were terrific. The rooms in the original building are spacious but are showing their age. The building layout is complicated as well. The HVAC in the rooms is managed from the clock (!), rather than a thermostat. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and comfortable, and the desk was usable.

This stay was truly special for our family. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, warm, and thoughtfully arranged. The hotel created a sense of comfort that made the trip even more memorable. Quiet, elegant, and very well maintained. Grateful for the experience — we would love to return.

We didn't take breakfast and didn't use AC. So, we have no comments on those. However, the hotel's location is very convenient and our stay was very confortable. Thank you.

Very old and outdated interior. Rooms are as clean as they can be but renovation is necessary to maintain a 4 star status.

Room was spacious. Good to amenities for the bathroom. Bed was uncomfortable - two singles pushed together. For a couple of days it’s not bad. Lighting in the room is only lamps. Air-conditioning has opened switched on yet from heat. So windows had to be opened.

I stayed in this hotel few times by now. Rooms are clean and quiet. Good location. There are some good restaurants in the hotel building. Options are more in 2min walk radius. Staff could talk and communicate in English as well. Overall, very good stay.
