"This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. "

Also an apple gratin was my husband’s favorite dish of our entire trip and we had some excellent meals throughout. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Hagi. It’s easy access by car for a day trip to Tsuwano and an easy location for all the interesting places in Hagi. "
