"I did the 1 night cruise and the whole experience was excellent. The administration (Anna) was very friendly and efficient and the logistics for the shuttle were clear. Once on board, the staff were very kind and attentive, the cabin was comfortable and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the excursions, particularly the caves and hiking. "First I would like to say the staff is extremely nice and helpful and they work hard to make you happy. Many meals are served and food variety is very rich. Our stay at Alisa Cruise was disappointing for two main reasons. First, the overall experience is extremely touristic and industrial. All activities they offer end up being very crowded as you do the same activities as at least another dozen boats. They took us to a beach which was so tiny and busy and we preferred going back to the tiny...

"Staff and service was excellent, However our room was very cramped and the double bed suffered from a gap in the middle. The boat was in ok condition, the food and bar service was ok. I would recommend spend a bit more money and getting on one of the larger boats "

"if your going to see halong bay, a cruise is a must...otherwise the town itself is really boring.. about this cruise: the pros: attentive staff, plenty of activities organized, comfortable and clean... the cons: food looks better than it tastes, no wifi, rooms can be noisy...its a wooden boat so your hear when ur neighbor upstairs is walking around..."

"Is a great experience to have a family’s trip together. Was really a good family bounding especially with my daughter during the kayaking activity. Itinerary was well organised by our tour guide ( Tony) and his crews. Would highly recommend to first timer to Halong Bay. My only negative comments to management would be crews member smoking at the deck after work. Me and family member was supposed to have a very good chat and decided to go to the room because really can’t tolerate the smoking...

"We stayed for 2 nights and loved this hotel. The rooms were great and had the best Ocean view. Taking a ferry from the check in building to the hotel was an interesting experience. The hotel is huge with lots of dining options. We tried the dinner buffet one night, the service and food choice was really good. The next night we tried the ala la carte menu at a different restaurant. Both the times we found the food a bit bland but that’s probably because we are used to having spicier food on a daily basis. We took a day ferry from the hotel and all the arrangements were done very well from booking to car transfer to the boat, etc. The service by everyone was excellent! Will definitely return to this resort if I visit Ha Long again."
