The weather was cool, but the area is beautiful and the whole of Holland is right there with great shops, restaurants and things to do. "Before I tell you about the house, I want to put the spotlight on Rich. He was the best representation of what hospitality should be! His communication is unparalleled!! Even before we started our trip he gave me a call to go through some things to do around town and what the house is close to. Prior to our arrival there was a big storm. Heard about it on the news but didn’t think much of it…storms happen. Rich called to let me know the day before we left the home had no power, and neither did a large portion of town. He offered to get a generator for us if we still wanted to stay. We, at that very moment, were standing in our back yard with temperatures hovering near 95. Yes Rich, we are coming whether there is electricity or not. Ha!The house is absolutely perfect. Sleeps 4 adults, and four kids very easily, maybe 8 adults if your height is under 6’3. The back yard has space for all the activities you can imagine. Our daughter specifically loved hide and seek, her favorite place to hide was the ferns. I don’t blame her, it looked like a great place to lay down. There is a gas grill and a large table for dining or playing cards outside. There is also a really nice fire pit, should the weather be cool enough for a fire. One of my absolute favorite things was the gas cooktop! Another big plus, washer and dryer! Traveling with messy humans? You’re gonna want those! "
