"Brilliant. A truly fantastic stay. It is 100% worth staying in a hotel inside the national park grounds as you can spend as much time at the canyon as you like without worrying about the queue at the entrance each morning. The hotel had a shuttle bus that ran every 10 minutes to take you from the hotel or camping areas to different locations around the canyon. There is also a grocery store next door so you can buy food supplies - useful to save some money and make sandwiches to take with us for some full days of walking. We are already planning another visit, and I'm almost certain we will stay at this hotel again. "

"El Tovar is an awesome place. Worth the money to stay directly on the rim. Very convenient to roll out of bed and watch the sunrise over the Grand Canyon. Easily scored a parking spot right in front. No need to leave this spot while you are here. So glad this room came up and didn’t stay in Tusayan. Been wanting to stay here ever since I saw Clark W. Griswold rob the desk clerk in vacation."

"We travel a lot and never have had in room razor, tooth brush etc things you may forget without asking. House keeping was so friendly and it’s way nicer in person than pics. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Best looking in the area too "

"Easy easy easy check in. Got here at 2 o’clock, the room was ready. Housekeeping staff very pleasant and helpful. Really a nice place. Just had a wonderful dinner at the Arizona steakhouse."
