Lakeview Cottage is 1480 square feet with coastal décor and hardwood floors. The
vintage cottage has a wrap-around front porch with Adirondack rocking chairs where you can enjoy lovely views and sounds of Lake Michigan. Plus, there’s a large front screened porch off the living room.
There are 2 full bedroom suites with one primary bedroom (queen bed) downstairs that connects to the full bath. The upstairs primary bedroom suite takes up the whole upper floor and has another full bath. The cottage sleeps a total of 8.
When you walk into Lakeview Cottage, you’ll be on the main floor. There’s a bright living room with a brand new ‘sofa chaise’ that ‘pops up’ for lounging or as another bed.
There’s also a smart TV and two more comfy chairs. The large dining table has eight
brand new chairs and cushions. Both the living and dining rooms have lake views and plenty of puzzles and games to have fun with when the sun goes down! Off the dining room is the kitchen with custom cabinets and plenty of counter space. The cottage is also equipped with gaming level high-speed internet with 500 Mbps and fun artwork throughout the cottage.
The main floor has a large remodeled full bathroom. Up the stairs (13 carpeted stairs),
the bright, open upper floor has a large recently built dormer -- with more views of Lake Michigan. There is another queen bed plus a full bed with a twin (rolls out from trundle bed). It has a full bath with a skylight. There’s also a desk nook for a quiet workspace.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots & pans, glassware, silverware, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. Stainless-steel appliances include a gas range, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The basement has a & Kid’s Zone; with another smart TV, a Wii Sports package and furniture for gaming, a half bath, and the washer and dryer.
There's a nice, very private, partially backyard with a patio, furniture, and a gas grill.
Two new bikes are available in the garage with helmets.
Lakeview Cottage is across from the 50-acre wooded Neshotah Park. Besides having
the beach voted the best in Wisconsin, there’s beach volleyball, basketball and tennis ball courts, softball, horseshoe pits and launching sites for kayaks Pickleball anyone?
There are brand-new courts in Two Rivers’ newest, beautiful park that’s just a short walk or drive to the other side of the East Twin River.
Right outside the door of Lakeview Cottage are two bike trails heading north and south on the Lakeshore. The Rawley Point Bike Trail takes you on a fabulous six-mile ride through wooded forests ending up at the absolutely beautiful sand dune beaches of Point Beach State Park.
The Mariner Trail bike way heads south six miles along the lakeshore to Manitowoc. All along the way are gorgeous gardens planted by volunteer families and world-class art sculptures. From Lakeview Cottage you can walk to stores, bars, the new ‘Cool City Brewery,’ restaurants, and the quaint Two Rivers downtown with its public park on Main Street. The twin city of Manitowoc is seven miles to the south. It has become a destination for more craft breweries and fine dining. Throughout the summer, there are festivals and live music in Two Rivers and across the beautiful Lakeshore area. 40 min from Lambeau Field—home of the Green Bay Packers!
