"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."

Great facilities such as onsite car rental and gym. Great free shuttle which helped us a lot. At times there was a lot of noise coming from the upstairs restaurant which wouldn’t stop until 12am. Rooms could’ve been soundproofed."

"Overwhelmingly positive and would stay here again. Pros - lovely helpful staff, our room was quiet and soundproofed from external noise or other guests, exceedingly close to amenities (harbour two minute walk, Old Town and bus station 15-20 Mon easy straight and flat walk, meaning closer to tons of restaurants, shops and transport to get around the island, nearby mini markets and pharmacies 2-5 Min walk away). Great accessible pavements for disabled persons but can be some loose paving and narrow pavements. Cons - limited and repetitive range of vegetarian or vegan breakfast options - most contained meat or eggs. Annoying wet room that we needed to dry up each time with remaining towels too avoid slipping. Could have done with an enclosed shower. Pool is on the ground floor next to reception desk and visible, making it unappealing to use. In fact, we saw no one use it in the time we were there."
