"We went las lt week to Wengen and stayed in Braunbär Hotel!! We just loved everything there we are a family of 3 and is the perfect hotel for families!! Breakfast are amazing they were included and the amenities are just so Great designed!! Also Great location and you can schedule the pick up and drop off is free service!! The spa is amazing and the pool is warm and nice for families after a long day walking around!! The rooms were super comfortable and big and our room had balcony!! Is also Close to the malinchen gondola station just in front ahhh and the staff so helpful the answer all my questions special SARAH in the front desk area she is amazing and Beyond!!!!!!!! Another plus it has a little playground for young kids where you can go and play with them and relax with a coffee in the meantime!! We will come back is just so great there!! Thanks a lot "

"Lovely hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great location, just back from the Main Street in the middle of town. Nice pool and restaurant and the rooms are really spacious. The homemade welcome and farewell gifts are a nice touch too. Breakfast is really good and included in room rate. Would stay again if in Grindelwald. "

"This was our favourite hotel so far in our 2 week trip from London to Paris to Switzerland. Nothing bad to say. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very very friendly and accomodating including at the breakfast which was one of the best we've had any any hotel. For us, the location was great for views over Lauterbrunnen, short travel to Interlaken and Eine Sheidegg."

Any negative reviews must be from competitors or people who booked beyond their budget because this hotel is nothing short of incredible. While it’s rated as a four-star hotel, it could easily be considered five stars based on the level of service, quality, and experience they provide. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that both the owners and staff take immense pride in their work. Their hospitality was unmatched. My flight was delayed due to a plane crash at Toronto airport, and without me even asking, they adjusted my reservation by a day to accommodate the delay—truly above and beyond service. The food is absolutely spectacular, the spa is amazing, and the views? Breathtaking. The rooms are luxurious, with massive 700 sq. ft. suites overlooking the Alps—pure perfection. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape from city life or a first-class experience in the mountains, this is the place to be. I’m appalled by any criticism of the owners.
