Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Very small, quaint alpine village. Can walk the entire area (including side streets) in less than two hours. Great views and a relaxing place to be. We were only there a short time. Wish we'd had time to explore hiking trails.

Murren is a lovely village up high surrounded by mountains. Lots of charming restaurants to choose from. You can take an idyllic walk from Murren to Gimmelwald and be transported to a Heidi - like village where time stands still! I want to go back!

Staff was very friendly, especially Miriam at the front desk, who attempted to make us drinks when the bar was closed. She did a great job and was so nice to accommodate us.
